I just found this site and I really like what you guys are doing.

I don't really want to give out much personal information besides the fact that I come from a relitivly well to do family. I will say that I have not finished HS and am not going to enter the working world until after college/grad school. But I feel that work you guys are doing is fairly important and pretty drat awsome to boot. I'm going to try and convince my partents to donate money/kit to you guys here. Which brings up two points. First, we as a family have a tradition of doing things right and not skimping nor tolerating preventable mess ups. Secondly, my own and my parents relitive lack of detailed firearm knowlege.

So here we go with the meat of the post.

I looked around the forum and did some research, Leica is good, US optics is better. As I was looking though the US optics site I and cross refrencing the stuff on your FAQ sheet I came to the conclusion that either the SN-3 or the SN-9 would be the best choice; however one seems to be 1,000 USD more expensive for, well to put it bluntly no gain what so ever. After comparing the order sheet's between the two the only real diffrence that I could come up with is the targeting reticule and the MOA adjusters. That leads to several questions first, is US #2 really that much better of a reticule? What sort of Reticule to snipers tend to prefer, and should it be illuminated or not? For the wind and elevation adjusters, which is better, 1/4th or 1/2 MOA and what the heck is MIL? Beyond that what are the most useful things to tack on in the "customization" bit. I figured that a 55mm aperature would increase the ammount of light a scope gets so that probably is better but I dont really know all that much.

The Bushnell 1500 looked the best, I'm assuming that ARC is a sort of built in ballistic calculator, which is fairly pointless, if i guess correctly, because the guys on the ground have already made out their ballistic tables. Might I correctly assume that the guys in the field can just paint some cammo onto em?

Between the Leics and Zeiss 62/65 mm spotting scopes, which is preferable, or is the more preferable one of the 80 something mm's that just came out?

Is it possilble to send surplus m-14/21/25/m1a rifle's to troops making do with the less long range adapted m-16?

Thank you in advance.
(Please don't mind the formality or mabye stuck up ness I'm just trying to get hard facts)
