Hello my name is Lcplxxxx and I am with xxxx in Iraq. I just recently saw your information on the marine corps times and I thank you for all your doing. I was wondering if it would be possible to send some items to my unit because we are a forward moving unit that has been having trouble recieving items in the past. The main items that we need are Under-armor T-shits size M- XL, xxxx, xxxx, xxxx.

I know that it may be hard to find some of these items but anything that you could send would be very appreciated. I check my e-mail at this camp once a week so write back if you need to.

Thank you for all your help.
Semper Fi,

I let the boys know about us possibly getting 12 plate carriers and you could see their eyes light up with disbelief. If you only knew how many times these Marines have been screwed over...it is things like what you are doing that dramatically increase moral and make coming to work day in and day out worth while. Once again, thank you for all your support.

Sincerely,

xxxx

Sir,

Just wanted to thank you and your organization for what you are doing. I also wanted to drop you a line and let you know we are out here ... we being Scout Sniper Plt xxxx MEU. We are currently packing up for deployment to xxxx on the xxxx of xxxx. Right now our Plt is xxxxstrong, with xxxx of us being 8541's. We are currently getting some support from the MEU in the form of weapons systems, and the BLT has open purchased us some xxxx and xxxx, which we are greatful for, but ... We are now fighting the ever long battle of us being able to use specialized gear or being forced to be uniform with the rest of the BLT. We fortunatley have convinced the command to let us use xxxxwith attachments but unfortunatley the Marines are being forced to purchase them themselves because the BLT already spent money on supplying the Recon Plt with new xxxx, xxxx, xxxx and xxxx. How they managed to do that is beyond me...Anyway, just wanted to let you know any support you can manage to send our way will be greatly appreciated and put to good use.

Semper Fi,

Sincerely, Lt.
Scout Sniper Platoon Commander

Hello my name is xxxx. I am the navy corpsman with thexxxx battalion xxxxx marines scout sniper platoon. I am equivalent to an EMT/Nurse in the military. We recently received the package that you sent us and I wanted to personally show my gratitude for the gear.

Most of the gear that is issued to us is not fit to operate in a desert climate like we
are in plus most of the time the gear is inadequate for the seperate missions that this platoon does.

Another one of my team members is taking pictures of us with the gear you sent and is going to send the pictures to you. I have not been with the platoon for very long and therefore did not have alot of the "high speed" gear that all of the other guys acquire before we leave states. Your gear will be put to good use. In addition if you would be able to get ahold of a desert medical bag for me the "doc" to fix these guys when they get broken, it would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you again for the support.

Have to say again that this really is a great site!

Taking the xxxx's out today to the range and give 'em a good breaking in. I know I've said it before, but as we get set to depart next week it really hits home to the help and support you have provided.

Thanks Brian.

Mr Sain,

I appreciate all the information on an organization designed to support service members given difficult tasks but improperly equipped. My hat goes off to you
and the people and vendors supporting us through your organization.

I've shared what you've sent with the other snipers on my xxxx and they've all requested some assistance. Our biggest problem is we are equipped to field
xxxxsnipers; however, my unit often needs to field xxxx depending on missions. The list below is obviously a "wish list" but anything that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

Again, I'm not sure what you would be able to provide assistance with, but anything would be greatly appreciated. I was also asked to see if you have access to xxxx for mounting to xxxx. These are great systems and are definitely beneficial when operating at night. We currently possess
xxxx for our sniper rifles, thus the request for xxxx as a quick fix.

I've shared your organization's information with other units operating within my area of operations as well as other Detachments.

Thank you for your time, attention, and most important-your support.

Sincerely,

The packages you sent have come in.

Wow, I can't express to you the thanks we have for what you have done for us. We appreciate all the hard work you and your crew have put in. It is individuals like yourself that make us feel like what we do is worth while. You are a true patriot. Our community is growing stronger by the day. Believe me, we will put the gifts you have sent to good use. And rest assure that there will be a round sent down range with your name on it.

On a sad note, we have already taken heavy casualties in the platoon. Late last month we were getting a class outside when we started taking mortar rounds. The impacts were ten to fifteen feet from were the platoon was sitting. We had one Marine
KIA, LCpl
xxxx and seven WIA. We had two seriously wounded, one of which may possibly return and one that is home for good, possibly medically retired.

Times have been pretty tough, but the packages you send help to boost Morale. xxxx was an outstanding Marine and the community lost a true hero. Thank you for everything you have done for us. I will be sending you some hard mail...what is the best address to send it to, the return address on the packages?

Thank you.

Lt xxxx
