Brian,
As
of right now, our platoon is doing pretty good with
the samll stuff like weapons cleaning gear. If you
could though, the cotton patches (forgot which company)
are 10 times better than the issued things. Also getting
those packages in the xxxx are essential (xxxx).
As for mission essential I would suggest the following:
- xxxx
- xxxx
- xxxx
- xxxx
- xxxx
- xxxx
-thats all I can think of this early in the morning.
As for gucci gear I was thinking if you could get
your hands on Ipods or any MP3 players it would be
cool. Oh, and solar showers so platoons like us dont
have to
compete for shower times. Hope this is little more
insight. Maybe your 10 steps ahead of me.
Thanks
Brian for the hard work, you are the godfather right
now.

Whats going on Brian. Just got back from a xxxx day mission
and just wanted to say that the bag you sent for patrolling
worked awesome. Made the mission 10 times easier to
accomplish. Also I saw a xxxx in a gear magazine:
"Thexxxx . It does not
have to be that exact bag, but, just to give you an
idea of the style of bag. Thanks again Brian. I told
Gunny about the website and the greeting.

Hey,
BK,
Hello, from sunny Iraq. I got sporadic
remore access to my aol account for now. .mil email
is still in the works, will advise. We could really
use some weapons cleaning gear if you have any. We
got a conex box of xxxx turned over but they are a mess. Troops
also running short on xxxx. I wrote to Militec,
told them I had 170 Marines coming over with me. VP
sent me an email- we got 200 4 oz bottles for the
bubble. What a great company - maybe a relative of
yours?! lol.
If you have any of the xxxx, it would be a great help. I feel bad
asking but supplies here are odd. got a sh#t load
of bottled water, decent amount of chow, no shitter
paper or weapons cleaning gear. Can't wipe our butts
or weapons........ Going to try to look for Sgt xxxx
at xxxx, they are here at this base too. Hope to
find him before they ship home. Started missions yesterday.
Heading to xxxx tomorrow night .... we took
fire on the flight in then got mortared a few hours
later. Guess that was the welcoming commitee.
Will stay in touch.
Waiting for card reader to mail you some pics.
Take care. Out from sunny Iraq,
Your
bud,

I just got a new stock with xxxx. I'm waiting
on a custom part so I can put it all together. I have
a xxxx. I gave up my own
optics because the xxxx I had was bad. So I
lent mine to a guy with zero. A sponser you hooked
me up with is getting me the part I need. Should be
here
soon. I hope. He's working hard to get me what I need.
I got xxxx long ones left. Just hit xxxx. If you know
someone who can hook up a xxxxthat would be the
business. I can't even find somebody that sells them.
Talk to ya later. I just got a bunch of good pics.
When service speeds up I'll send um out.

Mr. Sain:
My
name is SSG xxxx I am with the xxxxINF. xxxx
I have been given the honor of starting a new sniper
section within my unit. The only problem I have run
into is getting my chain of command to purchase items
organic to a sniper section.
I found out about this site by word of mouth from
a fellow sniper that said you guys might be able to
help my cause. We are slotted to xxxx.
I'm sure you know how I feel about the honor of starting
this section from scratch, but I want all my guys
to have the equipment and training they need to return
in one piece from our deployment.
Anything
you can do to help would be great. It is nice to find
a sight for soldiers that make up only xxxx percent of
the Army.
Thanks:

Dear Brian,
My
husband xxxxX is a sniper in the Marines.
We have corresponded previously with you and I believe
Adopt a Sniper has given my husband's platoon quite
a few items. They deployed to xxxx yesterday
and my husband is without any type of sunglasses over
in xxxx
. He is in need of a pair of
Oakley sunglasses and I am wondering about the possibility
of you organization supplying him with the Oakley's
that he needs. I realize this is asking a lot, however
we can no longer afford the items he needs, as we
have spent everything on gear prior to his departure.
Please let me know your situation and if this would
be possible. Thank you for you time and consideration..

Mr. Sain,
I
have just located your website. Unbelievable, I had
no idea that in this day and age, we had so much support
from the local populous. I am working as a Platoon
Sergeant for xxxx and am interested in being
supported/assisted as part of the Adopt A Sniper program
you have in place. I have a sniper for
each of my teams and will be xxxx. Please
contact me with information regarding membership.
